Stereotypes are generalizations expressed about a group of people that do not always hold truth. Our group put together this video to demonstrate how different stereotypes may be expressed in everyday conversation. This particular example focuses on college age students, but stereotypes are expressed in many other life scenarios such as the parent-child communication of gender roles. Watch how each character communicates stereotypes and how stereotypes are communicated back to them.
